Can The Buzz Bar provide/purchase the alcohol?

Unfortunately, per PA Liquor Control Board, we are not permitted to purchase alcohol for your event since we do not own a Liquor License. We are allowed to serve alcohol to your 21 + year old guests. We offer a custom alcohol list to help you purchase exactly what is needed for your event. 

Does The Buzz Bar need electricity?

Yes and No! We do need electricity and can plug right into the venue if that is available. If that is not possible, we can discuss an option for a generator.

How far will you travel?

We will travel up to 30 miles from Prospect, PA. If you event is more than 30 miles, we can discuss an additional fee to still be able to come to your event! 

Do you handle trash?

Unfortunately, we do not empty bar trash cans throughout your event, and we are unable to take bar trash bags with us.  Ask your venue if they handle trash removal or check with your caterer.

Is The Buzz Bar insured?

Yes, we are covered by both liquor liability and general liability insurance. We can provide proof to your venue if needed. 

Are the bartenders certified?

Yes, all bartenders are RAMP certified. 

How exactly does this work?

You provide the alcohol, and we handle the rest! Less stress for you while plan your event.

What are the rules with checking IDs, shots, and cutting people off?

We will check all IDs for guests that appear to be under 30 years old.  No ID means we cannot serve that person per the PA Liquor Control Board.

No Shots will be served at any event. We are aware if you are ordering multiple drinks on the rock with a group of people you are still doing a shot, so we will not allow that. We love to have fun to, but responsibly!

Anyone invisibly intoxicated will be shut off.  Even if this is the worst part of our job, we want to make sure everyone stays safe while having tons of fun!
